This November, enjoy an evening of good food and entertainment at the Kloof Town Hall. The Durban Men’s Choir (DMC) has been in existence for 39 years and has over this period of time entertained and given much joy to all who have listened and watched the choir perform.
The DMC is a non-profit organization that performs between 20 and 25 concerts per year. The choir consists of, on average, 38 members (all amateurs) from all walks of life and is led by Norraine Swanby (musical director).
The choir performs music from many different genres, including classical, opera, traditional, songs from the shows (e.g Phantom of the Opera, My Fair Lady, Showboat, Les Miserables and many more), popular music and any music that will provide our audiences with enjoyment. Our programmes are tailored to suit the occasion.
