Congratulations to Highway Toastmasters for being named top club in District 74 of Toastmasters International, receiving the Derek Waite Gavel. The district consists of 172 Toastmasters clubs in nine Southern African countries, so coming first is an incredible achievement.

This award was earned by the club’s enthusiastic members, who go the extra mile in their personal development, gaining communication and leadership skills that are valuable in all spheres of life. They have also received the highest distinction given to clubs by Toastmasters International – President Distinguished – for three years running.

Highway Toastmasters has been in existence for almost 25 years, providing a supportive and positive learning experience through which members are empowered to develop their communication skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth.

Meetings are held at the Bell Hall in Christ Church, Pinetown; second and fourth Tuesday of the month, 6:15 for 6:30pm until 9pm. Guests are welcome.
