Take a trip down memory lane and join the 80’s Rewind Festival for a night of neon outfits, scrunchies, denim jackets and big earrings – let’s party like its 1985!

KIA Motors is bringing a selection of your favourite 80’s superstars to a city near you for a ‘one-night only’ music festival.

Coming to Growthpoint Kings Park Stadium in Durban on 7 February 2015, 80’s revellers can look forward to a massive lineup including: Billy Ocean, Heather Small (from M People), Nik Kershaw, Go West, Wang Chung, Blancmange, and Hazell Dean.

The artists will be performing their greatest hits including “African Queen”, “King of Wishful Thinking”, “Wouldn’t it Be Good”, “Moving on Up”,  “Living on the Ceiling” and “Everyone Have Fun Tonight” to name but a few. Hazell Dean is well known for her SA number one hit “They Say it is Going to Rain”.

Returning to South Africa for the third time, the 80’s Rewind Festival is the world’s biggest 80’s festival with three massive events in the UK, as well as events in Thailand and the United Arab Emirates. First held in August 2009 in England, the event’s following has grown massively over the last 5 years and is considered a highlight on the festival circuit.

KIA 80’s Rewind in association with Jacaranda FM, Heart FM, East Coast Radio and VH1 gives you a once in a lifetime opportunity to see your favourite award-winning recording artists performing live on one stage!

Between these artists, they have produced massive chart toppers, sold millions of albums worldwide achieving Gold and Platinum status and won numerous music awards. Billy Ocean is one of Britain’s biggest recording stars ever, having sold over 30 million records.
