IFA Hotels and Resorts announced the appointment of Media24 Famous Publishing as its new publishing partners of Zimbali Resort Life magazine, effective from September 1, 2016. 

“The Summer Issue of Zimbali Resort Life magazine will be edited by Hayley Dennyson, who comes with a wealth of local and international experience,” says Managing Editor, Doody Adams.

“After following a rigorous selection process, I am delighted to announce that Famous Publishing will in future publish our glossy magazine. We see a natural synergy between our two organisations and share a history which dates back to 2005. I know that together we will continue to be able to produce a publication which satisfies our most discerning community of readers and advertisers,” says Phil de Sylva, IFA Hotels & Resorts Senior Vice President of Operations.

Zimbali Resort Life magazine is a beautifully-designed publication, specially produced not only for Zimbali’s astute investors and homeowners, but also for local and international travelers who stay at the world-class coastal estate in KwaZulu-Natal.

This bi-annual magazine offers both property and lifestyle content for a high-end, affluent market of corporate professionals and seasoned travelers, many of whom own more than one home and follow global lifestyle trends, all of which are reflected in the quality editorial content of the magazine.

The print run of 15,000 is distributed to Zimbali Coastal Resort residents, The Fairmont Zimbali Hotel & Resort, Zimbali’s key clients, airport lounges and to a niche clientele comprising executives from SA’s Top 200 companies.

Famous Publishing’s founding members Tim Lombard, David Wightman and Louis Meyer pioneered South Africa’s free glossy magazine publishing industry in 2004 with the publication of The Ridge magazine in uMhlanga followed by The Crest in Hillcrest and Business in Durban – a magazine for the local business community.
