The highly-anticipated Kearsney Easter Rugby Festival kicks off on Thursday, 17 April, bringing exciting running by some of SA’s most promising young talent. 

You’ll see teams from Kearsney College, Glenwood and Westville from KZN; Grey College (Bloemfontein), Affies (Pretoria), Monument (Krugersdorp), EG Jansen (Boksburg), HTS Middelburg (Middelburg), Framesby High (Port Elizabeth), Nico Malan (Humansdorp), Selborne College (East London) and Dale College (King William’s Town).

There will be six fixtures on each of the three play days: Thursday 17, Saturday 19 and Monday 21 April. A match between primary school teams – Highbury, Westville Senior Primary and Umhlali Preparatory – and the KZN U13 Provincial Development team will kick off each day’s action.

The Festival is a very family-friendly event and there are always masses of boys and girls running around and enjoying the space and atmosphere on the beautiful Kearsney campus. A variety of food and drinks will be on sale. The weather forecast looks good for the weekend so get family and friends together for a fantastic Easter Weekend!
